Wikipedia - Sorrento FC

Sorrento Football Club, commonly known as Sorrento FC, is a Western Australian semi-professional soccer club based in the northern Perth, Western Australia suburb of Duncraig. They currently compete in the National Premier Leagues Western Australia. The club was founded in 1972.

Az Sorrento egy ausztrál labdarúgócsapat, amelynek székhelye Perth, Nyugat-Ausztráliában található. A csapatot 1952-ben alapították, és a National Premier Leagues Western Australia állami ligában, a nyugat-ausztráliai labdarúgás második legmagasabb szintjén játszik. Az Sorrento a Sorrento Ovalban játssza hazai mérkőzéseit.

A csapat színei a fekete és a fehér. Az Sorrento 16 alkalommal nyerte meg a nyugat-ausztráliai bajnokságot, és három alkalommal nyerte meg a nyugat-ausztráliai kupát. A klub legnagyobb sikere az 1991-es National Soccer League Grand Finalban való szereplés volt, ahol 2-1-re kikaptak a Melbourne Knights-tól.
